La Dolce Velo began in our garage in 2001, primarily as a fundraising mechanism for a variety of charities.  We provided new bikes and services to over 300 customers, mostly Team In Training athletes, from our garage before opening our retail location on Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose in October 2006.

Our desire to help our fellow athletes from our garage days has grown into a desire to provide you the best products and services at affordable prices.
